On the island there are magnificent Byzantine churches worth visiting: Zoodochos Pigi (the island’s Cathedral) in Megalochori, Agioi Anargyroi in Skala, Agia Kyriaki in Limenaria, Panagia in Metochi with its incredible view, and the chapels of Agioi Pantes (All Saints) and Agioi Theodoroi outside Megalochori.
