sprünglichen Küste wieder. Der
sich anschließende, etwa 20
Minuten dauernde Weg bis zur
Plateia Arvanitia führt an mit
unzähligen Kaktusfeigen be-
wachsenen Felsen vorbei. Der
Platz füllt sich Abend für Abend
mit Familien, Gruppen von jun-
gen Leuten und auch verliebten
Paaren, die einen romantischen,
nächtlichen Spaziergang von
der Arvanitia zum Leuchtturm
und wieder zurück machen. Da
Nauplia in einer Ebene liegt,
ist es eine ideale Stadt, statt
mit dem Auto mit dem Fahrrad
zu fahren. Es ist anzumerken,
dass die Gemeinde schon längst
erkannt hat, wie wichtig es ist,
das Radfahren zu fördern, we-
shalb auf dem Platz vor dem
Rathaus ein Fahrrad-Verleih
eingerichtet worden ist. So
kann jeder ganz bequem und
auch ohne ein Rad mitgebracht
zu haben die Stadt per Rad
erkunden.

για να περιηγηθείτε στην πόλη.

below the cliffs of Akronsf-
plia and overlooking the bay
of Argolis starts at the end
of the waterfront and ends
at the Plateia Arvanitia. After
passing the “Banieres” “baths”,
which is the Marine Club area,
you will reach the edge of
the steep coast, walking along
the rocks filled with prickly
pear cactuses. For a roman-
tic night walk, the stroll from
the lighthouse to Arvanitia is
ideal. Every night, the place is
filled with families, groups of
young people and couples in
love. Nafplion, is an ideal city
for cycling as it is mostly lev-
elled. It should be noted that
the community has long rec-
ognized the need for promot-
ing cycling, and has therefore
placed a bicycle lending in the
square outside the Town Hall.
This is a great way to cycle
through the city and explore
what it has to offer.
